Weg der Mitte
The Weg der Mitte Health System
Since the establishment of Weg der Mitte in 1977 we have approached health and healing from a holistic perspective. Our methods have been proven highly valid also in modern day research. Since the beginning of our work until today a much broader understanding and application of holistic health methods are taking place in society over all. This affirms the benefit of our comprehensive work with patients and clients that we now have practised for over 50 years. We understand illness/imbalance in a multilevel context (physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually) and in the context of the individual's relationship to him-/herself, to others and the environment. We do not see it as an isolated malfunction or disturbance in the individual organs of the physical body.
The approach of the staff of Weg der Mitte is based upon a deep respect for each person just as she or he is.The staff has caring and open relations with one another and many years of experience in working with clients and groups. We know from experience that healing depends on a trusting relationship between client and therapist, and we put special attention to this.
Our pedagogical approach is “Integrative Learning™” which is our central method in health education. It includes theoretical teaching, study, practical experience including didactic, supervision, group sharing, and the application and integration of all these elements into the participant's daily life. This integrative approach reminds us to check in with ourselves, to remember what is important, and to be in the moment. Inner quiet and harmony can then develop along with learning and experiencing Health Enhancing Tools.
We have found that the best way to promote holistic health and healing is by empowering and strengthening the competence of each participant/client. This is Selfcare Medicine at its finest. You can benefit by applying the methods and teachings in every-day life, as you continue to enhance your health through increased vitality, positive outlook and affirming life style.
